WHAT TO EXPECT
Propulsion Manufacturing Operations is part of an incredible journey as JLR develops its Electrified Powertrain capability. Propulsion Manufacturing Operations is responsible for the planning and execution of all new propulsion Launch programmes for JLR in the UK and follow up sites worldwide.
The responsibilities for this role include working with all of the plant teams as well as key stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver the objectives of the launch programmes, ensuring that all activities exceed expectations in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment. They will be responsible for leading the domain scrum.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Coordinate squads & facilitate daily escalation activities
* Co-ordinate and develop a team of product coaches to enhance learning and launch activities and tactics.
* Ensure all quality planning activities are completed robustly and on time.
* Ensure rigid adherence to the Plant Launch Quality Operating System.
* Support all launch timelines and develop rate of climb plans.
* Engage in the rollout of a standard cadence across all Production lines to the Productivity, Maintenance and Safety Operating Systems.
WHAT YOU NEED
* Experience in manufacturing processes & product change management including new product introduction & facility management
* Experience with Agile methodology
* Experience of working in a new product launch environment
* You view things as a team rather than individual project level, considering the wider team needs.
* Strong interpersonal/communication skills, including ability to manage/lead/support key stakeholders.
