The role of the Compliance Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Work collaboratively across Regional Delivery teams, technical specialists and other users across DIO, MOD and Maintenance Management Organisations.
Develop standards and guides to assist Regional Delivery staff in understanding performance criteria for assets on the MOD estate.
Keep up to date with new legislation, methods of construction and materials to assess impact on the MOD estate.
Undertake compliance reviews within their specialism for contracted works, including planned and reactive maintenance. Report findings and make recommendations for statutory and mandatory compliance.
Work with the Regional Compliance and Assurance Teams in planning, undertaking and reporting on programmed and reactive assurance checks, including learning from experience and continuous improvement.
Take the lead within the Compliance and Safety (CaS) Team for the Asbestos Strategic safety area.
Driving compliance recommendations forward in a coherent manner across Regional Delivery to ensure a consistent delivery of service is experienced by the end-user.
Assist in the formulation of strategies to continually improve and effectively support Regional Delivery in the management and mitigation of key compliance risks and issues across the estate. Deliver an annual programme of portfolio and compliance investigations.
Supporting the Team to manage the Infrastructure Compliance Committee Working Groups via co-ordination, communication, and briefing material.
Monitor, manage and mitigate key compliance risks and issues across the estate.
Technically lead on Asbestos management within the CoE CaS team.
