The rate of pay is: - Rotational shift £27,076.14 per annum - 4 on 4 off £39,405.07 per annum This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday or 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are: - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (rotating Monday to Friday) - 7am to 7pm (4 on, 4 off pattern) This is a factory-based role, requiring the applicant to be standing for most of the working day. Your Time at Work Following training, the key duties of the post are as follows: - Dispense raw materials in accordance with manufacturing plan and related batch documentation to including scanning, weighing back materials updating computerised systems. - Identify and dispense, any raw materials for use in the manufacturing process, or for sending to third-party manufacturers. - Manufacture bulk products in various batch sizes from a variety of raw materials following BMRs. - Test and adjust product parameters, (e.g. PH level, viscosity, colour, etc.) when necessary as per product specifications. - Set up connections between vessels to enable both hot and cold liquid transfers. - Discharge bulk product from mixing vessels to storage tanks or containers. - Ensure batches are produced on time, and in accordance to product specifications and standards. - Ensure manufacturing vessels are kept clean and any faults are reported immediately so corrective action can be taken. - Operate electric-powered pallet truck / FLT. - Be responsible and accountable for completion of own BMRs. - Ensure documentation is accurately maintained and relevant information communicated as appropriate. - Liaise with other departments to organise storage of finished batches when necessary. - Promote safety, quality and efficiency of the manufacturing department. - Ensure that all operations are performed in a safe way, and safe working practices are always followed. - Maintain high standards of GMP at all times. - Regular and clear communications with the warehouse, QC departments, team leader and the team. - Be available for weekend and out of hours work if the business dictates. - Support the Shift Team Leader in providing on-the-job training for new recruits. - Support investigations of quality incidents to identify the root cause and identify/implement robust preventative and corrective actions. - Carry out any other reasonable duties at the request of the Shift Team Leader / Manufacturing Manager.
