Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB)
The Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) was formed in 2017 with the aim to improve patient safety across the healthcare sector by carrying out expert investigations to determine the causes of accidents and serious incidents, and to make safety recommendations intended to prevent recurrence and to improve safety across the healthcare system. The Health and Care Act 2022 established HSSIB as the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB), a fully independent arm's-length body from October 2023. HSSIB publishes approximately 30 new reports annually, following investigations into an incident or issue, and issue safety recommendations to a wide range of bodies and organisations.

You will lead and support on specific HR projects including embedding the HSSIB values within the organization, developing employee engagement, health and wellbeing plans.

7. Develop HR approaches, in association with the HR & OD Lead, that support operational business objectives, organisational design and resource plans.
8. Lead on employee relations case work, as appropriate, providing specialist HR support to managers and investigating officers, during informal and formal processes up to and including dismissal.
9. Support in the production and analysis of workforce data including running BI reports from ESR.
