Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Improvement Advisors to support service lines to delivery and improvement of their services. This opportunity has arisen due to an investment for 2 years initially. The improvement advisors will provide specialist quality improvement knowledge and expertise, tailoring plan and support for the unique challenges each service line has. They will support the movement of clinical audits to quality improvements projects, and ensure sustainability of progress. The Quality Improvement Adviser provides leadership to clinical teams within their nominated Service Lines to ensure delivery of effective and efficient programs to drive continuous improvements in healthcare service delivery. This post is one of four Quality Improvement Advisers who together are responsible for a broad portfolio of quality improvement initiatives and interactions across the Trust, embedding QI behaviours and skills. Main duties of the job The post holder will act as an initial contact for improvement and a source of expertise in making changes and aiming to high-quality services. This role will provide intensive support to service lines, providing in-depth knowledge about improvements and helping teams to develop change ideas and test out possible solutions. Using local data and dashboards, the improvement advisors can support staff to measure changes. Work with a range of stakeholders to ensure key areas are being addressed by build more co-production and co-produced projects. This in-depth work will create opportunities for teaching and development sessions, embedding learning and continuous improvements at a local level.
