Cost to Serve Manager - Nisa
Up to £66,000 plus benefits (Work Level 5)
Scunthorpe, in this role you'll work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home and coming into our office in Scunthorpe at least once a week with occasional travel to our offices in Manchester (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
We're looking for a Cost to Serve Manager to join us and help us identify cost to serve saving opportunities across our Nisa business. We'll look to you to own cost savings projects all the way up to sign off and implementation - from identifying cost to serve opportunities across wholesale through to crunching the numbers and forecasts and putting a compelling presentation together.
You'll work cross-functionally with a wide range of colleagues and teams across the business to support the implementation of these initiatives and make sure they're delivered on time. What you'll do
- Identify cost to serve saving opportunities and create a timeline for delivery
- Work closely with external and internal teams to agree the appropriate opportunities and savings projects
- Collaborate with our commercial finance teams to accurately capture details and savings, making sure there are no overlaps or 'double counting'
- Develop ways of tracking and measuring savings in line with audit and finance practices
- Articulate any customer impact and support in the communication of this via our comms and retail teams
- Engage the buying and trading teams to make sure that any supplier impacts, and admin are effectively managed
- Report weekly and by period on savings secured versus budget targets
