BUSINESS at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College
The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to the full-time post of Teacher of Business, who will lead and inspire students.
As student numbers continue to grow in this area, we are seeking to appoint two exceptional teachers of Business who have the drive and enthusiasm to provide a high quality and challenging learning experience for our students, whilst also ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment.
The Business department at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is extremely high performing with a track record of achieving Outstanding ALPs value added for the last three years. Currently over 200 students study Edexcel A level Business specification and over 200 students study Business CTEC Level 3. The department also offers a L2 BTEC Business programme.
The Business department is lively, dynamic and progressive in terms of its approaches to delivering the specifications we offer. We have a wealth of experience and professional knowledge and would welcome applications from teachers who feel they could make an immediate contribution to the teaching of Business on the programmes we offer.
The department has made a major contribution to the academic standing of the College, both locally and nationally and successfully launched T level in Business September 2022. All programmes are delivered in recently refurbished accommodation with high specification specialist IT resources.
There is a friendly and professional atmosphere within the department and a strong emphasis on encouraging a positive rapport between staff and students in the pursuit of academic success. There is a wealth of experience and professional knowledge and an encouragement to undertake CPD.
