Aspire People are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Performing Arts Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful secondary school in Merton.
As a Performing Arts Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Assist in delivering engaging and creative performing arts lessons.
2. Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs.
3. Help prepare resources and set up for performances and rehearsals.
4. Supervise students during practical activities and performances.
5. Support students in their creative development and performance techniques.
6. Assist with administrative tasks related to the performing arts department.
Requirements:
1. A recent relevant degree from a top UK university.
2. A passion for the performing arts, with a particular interest in drama, dance, and/or music.
3. Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support students.
5. Enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated to work as part of a team.
6. A commitment to promoting creativity, self-expression, and artistic development.
7. Interest in pursuing teacher training.
