Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working with our client in West Belfast to recruit a new full-time and permanent Sales & Customer Service Coordinator to join their expanding team.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Sales & Customer Services Assistant will be accountable for supporting the Company's customer service and business development activities to effectively manage customer accounts.
This role will champion outstanding customer support through developing strong customer relationships, providing high quality customer service, and managing Company procedures to ensure both customer requirements and business objectives are fulfilled.
Duties:
* Managing all sales administration activities e.g. inbound sales enquiries and new customer onboarding processes.
* Generating electronic Sales and Production orders.
* Calculating the quantity of materials required and generating purchase orders accordingly.
* Pricing sales orders using agreed customer pricing structure.
* Maintaining controlled documents.
* Accurately maintaining specification documents.
* Managing stock levels.
* Attending Production meetings to ensure Customer Service requirements are maintained.
* Providing customer requested information i.e., stock reports etc.
* Attending customer visits (on/off site).
* Responding directly to customer queries, confidently and effectively resolving customer service issues.
* Managing the escalation of customer queries as required.
* Liaising with the supply chain network.
* Working to monthly targets in line with agreed margins.
* Ensuring accuracy of all customer service data for management reporting.
* Working closely with the Accounts team to ensure accurate reporting.
* Ensuring Company policy, procedures and Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
Criteria:
* A minimum of 2 years' proven customer-facing/administration experience.
* Demonstrable experience of customer account management.
* Experience of CRM systems would be advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed processes and procedures.
* Ability to proactively use your own initiative and prioritise workloads whilst maintaining deadlines.
* Ability to operate effectively and flexibly within a fast-paced environment and maintain standards whilst working to production schedules.
* Flexible to work cross-functionally across the team.
* Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
* Competent IT Literacy, with proficiency in MS Office in particular Excel.
* Minimum GCSE Level or Equivalent (Maths & English).
Shifts: Monday to Friday - office hours - 9am to 5pm
