Job Overview In support of the Trust’s Data Quality Initiative to improve the quality of data entered onto current and future administration systems the Information Directive is seeking to recruit a full time permanent member of staff to support the work within the Data Quality Assurance Department. The post will be a supportive role to assist the Data Quality Assurance Department to help operational areas across the Trust in the improvement of all aspects of Data Quality, completeness and assurance. The candidate will be required to work with operational staff in both an advisory and practical role. Have the ability to analyse data quality validation reports to maintain continued improvement in data quality for all operational activity across the Trust. Ideally have a NHS background, good IT skills and some knowledge of the Summary Care Record Application (SCRa) would be advantageous, but where appropriate, IT system training within the Trust can be arranged. The candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and customer skills. When required represent the department at local meetings to discuss data quality matters. An ability to analyse, gather and dissect data. Highly desirable is an aptitude to organise, prioritise own work as well as the ability to work effectively within a specialist team.
