STUDIO MANAGER Hours: 2 days - Tuesday and Thursday, 09:15-17:45 Location: London Bridge Salary: up to £35,000 pro rata Our client is a global creative agency with a family feel. Focused solely on the built environment, they deliver campaigns for the world’s most significant real estate developments from nine offices in six countries. The are looking for a Studio Manager to join their team. Studio Manager - The Role Reporting to the Resource Manager, this role is based in the London studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You’ll be supporting the day-to-day admin duties of the studio, ensuring smooth operations, and taking care of the team. Your role will also be key in bringing our culture initiatives to life, working with our Culture Crew to organise birthday treats, special occasions and random pick-me-up gifts. You’ll work with a smart, respectful team of strategists, designers, copywriters, and project managers. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, so you’re guaranteed to make a difference. This role would suit someone with general administration and reception/front of house experience looking to work part-time, two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday, 09:15-17:45) in a friendly and enjoyable working environment. Studio Manager - Main Responsibilities Responsible for the smooth running of the studio, including ensuring the front and back of house are kept tidy, maintaining equipment, and ensuring studio supplies are stocked. Responsible for dealing with telephone calls/intercom, post, filing, greeting clients, preparing refreshments, meeting room bookings and ensuring the rooms are always meeting-ready. Manages relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords. Also can negotiate contracts and prices with these parties. Organising weekly studio breakfasts and lunches (ordering, setting up and clearing etc.) Taking the lead on all events including Christmas and Summer parties, quarterly meetings, acknowledging work anniversaries, staff birthdays, etc.) and preparing the internal Weekly Digest email. Supporting the Resource Manager with Culture Crew tasks or project research when required. Additionally, assisting with general studio improvements and maintenance. Studio Manager - Skills required: Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan your week will be essential, as you will be responsible for overseeing the studio’s general operations. A friendly and polite attitude with a sprinkle of cheer will ensure that everyone feels welcomed and respected, contributing to a positive studio environment and helping maintain strong relationships. The ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality will be key in this role. You will manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ranging from administrative duties to supporting senior management. You should be able to answer calls promptly, listen carefully, and communicate effectively, professionally and confidently, ensuring that all queries are dealt with in a timely and helpful manner A self-motivated individual must be able to work independently, demonstrating initiative and the ability to complete tasks without requiring constant supervision. You will need to be proficient in using various computer systems and software, including email platforms, cloud-based document management systems, and internal communication tools. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is essential. Your communication skills will be key in ensuring that information is clearly conveyed both in writing and verbally, both internally and externally.
