About the role
We are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our small successful customer friendly team. We are fortunate to work at a site with spectacular scenery where we work together to look after our customers. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service to all customers at the Cafe on the water, enhancing our customers experience whilst continually working to improve our business. Hours of work will vary during the week, covering weekends, and bank holidays. Our hours of business are 7 days a week 09:00 – 17:00, so there’s no late nights…
You will work as part of a team providing day to day hospitality service, working front of house which includes operating the till, food service, clearing tables, displaying and selling goods (incl gift items) and replenishing stock as needed. You will also provide some kitchen duties such as washing up, and food preparation.
About you
You’ll have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as dealing with customer is a large part of this role.
You’ll have the ability to work flexibly as this role will include a variety of different tasks and working hours.
Proven experience of using your own initiative and working with in a team environment is essential to ensure a smooth running of the Café.

This role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
