I am working with a leading accountancy firm with a substantial presence in the UK, known for delivering outstanding service across a range of industries, who are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Partner to join their team in Birmingham. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of audit quality, and mentoring a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the audit process for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
2. Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements, effectively managing risk and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
3. Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships, providing strategic advice and identifying opportunities for business growth.
4. Lead and mentor audit teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
5. Collaborate with fellow partners and senior management to support and enhance the firm's strategic direction and growth initiatives.
6. Keep updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the firm's services remain relevant and competitive.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
1. ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
2. Proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients and leading successful audit engagements.
3. Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
5. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
6. Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
