Permanent Hours detailed below:
These contracted minimum hours are permanent positions within Boomerang Healthcare:
* Part-time or full-time hours plus on-call support
* Additional hours and days can be made available if required
Duties can include:
* Visit and support service users in their own homes with complex and non-complex needs
* Undertake and complete assigned tasks
* Provide personal care and support where required
* Provide domestic support where required – cooking, cleaning, washing, etc.
* Take service users out to shops or on visits
* Social Visits / Sits
* Training
* Completion of Care Plans
* Mentoring new care staff
* Spot Checks / Quality Checks
* Out of hours on-call support and cover
* Medication Audits

Essential Requirements:
* 3 years care experience
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Caring, outgoing, friendly personality
* Punctual and reliable
* Experience in moving, handling, and lifting
* Ability to use IT equipment
* Good organisational skills
* Effective skills in conflict management and resolution
* NVQ Level 2
* Must be able to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements (specialist training can be provided):
* Skilled in PEG feeds
* Experience of supporting LD clients
* Medications management
* NVQ Level 3/4
