As the Global Brand Director - Respiratory Inhaled, reporting to a VP Commercial Respiratory, you will be the commercial lead on the Global Product Team (GPT) to support our brand ambition. The medicine is a key part of AstraZeneca’s Respiratory and the overall Biopharmaceuticals portfolio. Join us on a journey to become one of AstraZeneca's future leaders!
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will be accountable for the development of the commercial strategy, successful commercial investment decision, and compelling promotional plans. You will represent the commercial voice in the GPT providing commercial input and contributing to the decision making on future clinical development projects. You will collaborate closely with various heads and teams to ensure on time delivery of the evidence supporting the asset, to build patient centric marketing plans and value propositions, to advise on new indication strategy and to create cases for commercial investment decisions.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree
* Strong US market/field experience.
* 10+ years experience in healthcare or biopharma industry
* In-depth understanding of commercial strategy, methodologies and tools
* Detailed ‘hands-on’ knowledge of building TPPs, generating sales forecasts and business cases.
* Experience of crafting brand strategy whilst understanding of product profile was incomplete and evolving.
* Thorough understanding of the drug development process and the need for commercial line of sight throughout
* Understanding of future healthcare market challenges including local regulatory DO’s and DON’Ts
* Exposure to and track record of effective management of senior decision-making/governance bodies
* Proven experience of engaging with and using insights from external customers e.g. KEEs, prescribers, payors
Desirable Skills/Experience:
* Advanced Degree e.g. MBA
* Respiratory therapy area knowledge or experience
