Job Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support and Coordination including compliance with local and national transport regulations, updating licenses on time, checking Companies House deadlines, and keeping updates from HMRC and other regulators.
2. Manage office documentation, including rent contracts, vendor contracts, and office supplies.
3. Oversee payroll processing, employee updates, office safety, and compliance.
4. Ensure that drivers are up-to-date with licensing and training, focusing on safety and customer service standards.
5. Manage office budgets, handle petty cash, and support financial reporting for the department.
6. Assist with invoicing, payment processing, and tracking expenses for accuracy.
7. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of office staff and drivers.
8. Implement training programs for new employees, focusing on company policies and customer service.
9. Liaise with IT teams to manage booking systems, dispatch software, and GPS tracking systems.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues, coordinating larger issues with IT support.
11. Any other ad-hoc assignments given by the Director.
Required Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills (additional languages Urdu/Panjabi and Hindi preferred).
2. Experience in leading and developing a team.
3. Excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
4. Intermediate knowledge of maintaining proper documentation for regulatory and compliance checks.
5. A passion for people and providing excellent customer service.
6. Willingness to be continuously on the go, working alongside your team.
7. Attention to detail, good computer literacy, and organization.
8. Ability to motivate and manage a team.
9. Effective interaction with staff, clients, and suppliers.
10. Basic knowledge of website management.
11. Intermediate knowledge of invoicing, vendor management, and office logistics.
12. Additional advantages will be provided for motivating employees.
Preferred Experiences and Qualifications:
1. 3 years’ experience in a managerial position.
2. Any training in customer management will be an additional advantage.
3. Bachelor's in Business Studies or Marketing is preferable (MBA in Business Studies will be an additional advantage).
