JobSummary:
Sitting withinthe Recovery Programme of Slough Borough Council this role willparticipate in the delivery of the council s Recovery programmethrough identification and analysis of opportunities for serviceimprovement and efficiencies and by leading projects included inthe programme.
This willcontribute to the delivery of SBC s strategic aims and derive fromthe development and implementation of theTOM.
KeyDuties/Accountabilities
Therole will proactively work across the Council in implementing thekey design principals of prevention and reduction of demand throughcustomer/community enabling automation of processes improved accessto services and information for customers earliest possibleresolution of customer enquiries and a streamlined &efficient approach with common technology processes androles.
Supportingoperational leads to develop endtoend process reviews and redesignprocesses that lead to easier customer journeys; utilise technologyto allow residents to selfserve ; capture data that will help usimprove services further; and drive out demonstrable and measurableefficiencies.
Critical tothese endtoend reviews will be to model and promote a One Councilview ensuring that dependencies with other functions/processes arerecognised.
EssentialExperienceRequired:
Experience ofworking collaboratively with Senior Management politicians andother key stakeholders evidencing credibility and impact as aleader isessential.
Experience Withproducing business requirement documentation including workflowdiagrams user cases and user stories endto end process reviewsusing value stream mapping (VSM) or business process reengineering(BPR)
EssentialQualificationRequired:
Qualified inProject Management (such as APMP or Prince2 or P3O or MSP) orBusiness Analysis or be able to evidence more than 3 yearsexperience in complex organisation(s) isessential.
Educated todegree level or equivalent by experience isdesirable.
Additionalinformation tonote:
Working hours:37 hours perweek.
The role ishybrid. The worker will be expected to come into the Slough offices2 to 3 times aweek
