We have a vacancy for an Operations Administrator in the Tsunami Axis Operations team based from our showroom/warehouse at Bourn Quarter Development, Cambridge. Tsunami Axis Operations is major division of Tsunami Axis Ltd (which has been established for over 25 years) and they work closely with all major TA Divisions to ensure the highest service levels to high-end blue-chip organisations. The Operations Administrator role provides general administration support, whilst working actively as part of the central team to increase and enhance the level of service and profitability of the Operations Team. General duties include stock control, internal invoicing process for storage, crew works scheduling, quotations/cost schedules for the crews ensuring the team meet their targets and crew costs are allocated and invoiced monthly. Based in our Bourn Quarter Development, Cambridge showroom/warehouse, this role will also act as the first point of contact for the building landlord and overseeing any building/office/service supplies and issues, and visitors to the building. For a role with these responsibilities, the ideal candidate should possess a mix of skills, experience, and attributes that align with operational efficiency, strong communication skills, and organisational management. The ideal candidate will already have administrative experience with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work on their own initiative. Principal Accountabilities: Working and supporting the TA Operations team on a day-to-day basis, and liaising with the Operations Director when necessary, to ensure TA Operations meets its targets and ensuring efficiency and profitability. Assist with preparing quotations as requested and updating the business central ordering system within deadlines maintaining a high level of accuracy with the creation of purchase orders and job numbers. Ensuring all storage, handling and crew costs are allocated and invoiced monthly ensuring a high level of accuracy. Working with the warehouse operative to ensure storage & project stocklists are checked & correct. Responsible for ensuring all cross charges for Crew, Storage are invoiced monthly internally using the Business Central system. Chair daily catch-up meetings with the team to ensure that all requests, scheduling, product picks are of a high standard and to prevent mixed communication, raising any issues with the Operations Director. Creating, and filing all relevant project documentation for TA Crew - Job sheets, RAMS, Delivery Notes, and the return notes. Building responsibilities: Responsible for the Routine Maintenance document for the BQ facility, scheduling relevant servicing elements, ensuring all reports are up to date, documented and filed for ISO processes. General office management and first point of contact for facilities such as cleaners, windows, alarm system, car parking, office IT system/issues, liaising with the building landlord and resolving any office building internal or external issues. Key Competencies and Experience Experience working in an operations-focused or administrator type role. Excellent interpersonal skills with clear verbal and written communication, along with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams, external clients, and visitors. A proactive approach with the ability to review processes and suggest improvements. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities. Flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Experience in issuing and dealing with invoices and maintaining records with a high level of accuracy. Highly organised with a high level of attention to detail.
