Our client is a highly acclaimed civil, structural engineering, and environmental consultancy focused on managing client risk and facilitating strategic, informed decision-making.
With a multidisciplinary team spanning engineering, geotechnical, environmental, and surveying, they employ an integrated approach to data capture, investigation, analysis, design, and project delivery.
Currently looking for an Engineering Associate for their Runcorn office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and key account management within industrial engineering environments (energy, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, hydrogen) with a background in Civil or Structural engineering.
The candidate we are looking for will have:
1. A degree in Engineering or a related subject.
2. Experience leading the delivery of projects with a focus on:
1. H&S & Risk Management
2. Technical delivery
3. Cost control
4. Contractual management
5. Programme management
3. Experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary design teams, including 3rd party suppliers: Architects, MEP, etc.
4. Relevant membership of a professional institution e.g. MICE, IStructE.
Responsibilities
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Liaise and build a strong internal relationship with both the Runcorn and Grangemouth engineering teams.
2. Develop and maintain internal and external networks for business development.
3. Ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
4. Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to establish growth strategies.
5. Manage key clients.
6. Develop technical capability of the Engineering team.
7. Mentor, motivate, and encourage the Runcorn team.
8. Attend conferences and seminar events.
9. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to produce marketing materials, complete tenders, and identify themes for client & sector engagement.
