You will maintain professional communication channels with clients and supply chain partners, while contributing to the commercial success and efficient execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception to handover and final account preparation
* Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions
* Estimating Assistance on tenders: Accurately assist in estimating cost of materials, labour, and equipment for new projects
* Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
* Raising and recording of all notices as required under the contract
* Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks associated with projects
* Reporting: Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management/clients
Our Requirements:
* 2-3 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction and/or engineering with specific experience in structural steel
* Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Proficient in using industry-standard software for cost estimation and project management
* Knowledge and working use of various forms of Contract including NEC; JCT; CECA
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
* Full driving license
Salary:
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
