The project\: Ministry of Justice, Mace, the designer and main contractors working in an Alliance to deliver the pre-construction stages of four new prisons to be built in England. These prisons form part of an overall programme that will deliver 13,000 modern and efficient prison places and meet future capacity demands. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are: Safety first - Going home safe and well Client focus - Deliver on our promise Integrity - Always do the right thing Create opportunity - For our people to excel Working predominantly remotely with some site visits every few months, you will assist the security lead/ operations director to administer and implement security across secure projects and provide assurance to clients regularly. This covers vetting of workers onsite, security clearance checks, data protection of systems and security policy and procedure roll outs/communications. You’ll be responsible for: Assist project manage security processes across a portfolio of projects for Mace. Assists prepare security documents for secure projects. Manage security and assure projects across the business. Assist carrying out security audits and prepare assurance reports. Meet with external stakeholders and consultants, provide security advice and maintain relationships. Work with project managers to ensure the implementation of security processes across various projects. Development of processes to meet the needs of individual clients. Respond to client stakeholder’s comments and requests. Manage others working on security across the business. Promote Mace services to existing clients. You’ll need to have: 5 GCSEs or equivalent (grades A-C) including math and english. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Previous experience in vetting, compliance, or risk management in a similar role. Strong customer service focus. Strong organisation skills. Excellent communication skills - written/verbal. You’ll also have: Have a working knowledge of current security policies and procedures for different government departments. Proven track record in managing client relationships.
