About your job You report to the Director of Sales Area Western Europe and as Sales Manager, you set the strategic direction and development for our sales activities in the UK and Nordics region, and you make sure that we act in line and meet globally set targets and initiatives. You manage a team of sales professionals, and you work cross-functionally and globally across the company backed by global sales processes and modern digital tools to achieve established sales targets. Through effective leadership and by maintaining and active presence with customers in the market you provide strategic and operational management support. Key performance areas : Manage the first line Sales engineers and Application specialists. Provide regular business performance metric reports to management. Liaise and work with senior management to set forecasts, budgets, and targets. Ensure that end-user, customer relations are effectively managed. Review and monitor sales performance periodically and refine sales strategy as required by management. Provide valuable insights to trending market conditions, and continually update our local business plan in terms of delivery, profitability, and efficiency. Follow up and prioritize areas of development and expansion, aligned with the company’s strategy. Create great cross-functional collaborations, driving synergies, and sharing best practices to keep improving, according to both market trends and internal strategies. We promote Remote Working, so the location for this position is flexible within the UK and Nordics region. Travel into different locations will happen on a regular basis. Your profile We are looking for someone with a university degree within Business Administration or Engineering combined with extensive experience from a similar role. We believe that you need experience working in a cross-functional and matrix environment. Navigating a global context demands proficient English communication skills. Fluency in Swedish is valued. You are a strong and trustworthy relationship builder and leader with a genuine interest in developing people. Being curious and eager to explore new possibilities, you constantly keep an eye on development and market trends. By analyzing our business environment and mixing strategy with hands-on actions, you drive customer value and increase our competitiveness.
