Job Summary:
* To liaise with suppliers and customers to develop and modify product specifications ensuring that they meet with the specified legal and customer requirements and are right first time including;
* Full completion of all sections of each specification, including QCP’s, CCP’s and finished product standards. Attachment of all required documentation.
* Manage QAS completion.
* Maintenance of existing specifications through a review program ensuring that all specifications are reviewed within the agreed timescales (e.g. during each season and prior to any customer audit).
* To maintain site certification and analysis folders.
* To assist with the compilation of supplier information for KPI reporting.
* To provide support to colleagues within the Technical Department, including but not limited to:
* Packing and sending samples on behalf of the Technical Manager and NPD Manager to customers, suppliers and for analysis.
* Support the Technical Manager in specification checks, internally and with customers.
* To undertake additional work or projects at the discretion of the line manager.
* To contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of the LDH Quality Management System.
Key Accountabilities:
* To ensure that product specifications meet the specified legal and customer requirements the first time.
* To keep the specification trackers accurate and updated.
* To update customer project trackers.
* To support the Technical function where required.
