SUMMARY INFORMATION
We're honored to be working with some exceptional schools throughout the Leicestershire. To support the increase in demand, we are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our team from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you are a TA, HLTA, SEND, LSA etc, we are keen to talk with you to discuss how we can find you the ideal role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
- To assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils' learning.
- Within an agreed system of supervision, plan and deliver challenging teaching and learning objectives and evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate.
- To provide feedback to pupils and colleagues in relation to progress and achievement.
- To encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
As a HLTA you will:
- Teaching Assistant Duties as detailed above, and ability to cover classes, plan and teach your own lessons.
- To assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils' learning.
- Within an agreed system of supervision, plan and deliver challenging teaching and learning objectives and evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate.
- To provide feedback to pupils and colleagues in relation to progress and achievement.
- To encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally have your own transport to enable you to get to a variety of schools.
- Experience within a school.
- Good behaviour management.
- Supportive, enthusiastic and committed.
- IT literate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
