Responsibilities
* Support the Supervisor/s and Operations Lead/s in meeting the Operational requirements for each maintenance input, repair or modification, by completing all tasks within their role to schedule and to the required standards first time.
* Understand the requirements regarding work undertaken/completed, ensuring compliance with relevant planned work instruction, Engineering instruction or ATP.
* Control the sequence of individual tasks and workload to maintain acceptable productivity performance and work standards.
* Meet individual schedule milestones and ensure on-time completion of work.
* Timely reporting of emerging risks or issues impacting work and/or productivity to the Supervisor or Operations Lead.
* Use the correct tooling for tasks and follow tool control processes.
* Ensure all work is Certified and completed on Work orders in the applicable system (MoD F700, GOLDesp MRO).
* Work within the limitations of authorisations and adhere to necessary BDUK Pols/Pro’s/Practices.
* Maintain authorisation currency and update logbooks.
* Participate in Continual Improvement (CI) workshops to identify and work with the relevant function to remove inefficiencies.
* Adopt a collaborative approach to work and maintain hangar husbandry, bay layout design, and actively participate in 6S/FOD prevention and control.
Deliverables
* Ensure personal H&S remains the number 1 priority.
* Execution and on-time delivery of the Maintenance Plan.
* Completion of Maintenance documentation on MoD F700, GOLDesp, GOLDesp MRO as required.
* Day-to-day completion of all maintenance tasks allocated.
* Achieve productivity and cost savings.
* Certification of tasks (1st Sig).
* Deliver a safe FOD free product to the customer on schedule with first time quality standards.
Preferred Experience Required:
* Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes applicable to the aviation environment (Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety & COSHH).
* Experience in either commercial or defence would be considered.
* Proficient computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office suite.
* Be an effective team member displaying appropriate behaviours including Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
