Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Trials Pharmacist to join our team and be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of safe and secure handling of all investigational medicinal products, including advanced therapy medicinal products (ATIMPs) in order to provide a high quality clinical trials service. This post will focus on managing and delivering studies predominantly at Harefield Hospital with regular cross-site working at Royal Brompton Hospital. Main duties of the job Ensures that all processes and documentation are completed in line with UK legislation (The Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and associated amendments. That Good Clinical Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice guidance is followed when dispensing and managing Clinical Trials that involve Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs). Provides a Clinical Trial prescription screening service and final checking to ensure that the service is efficient, effective and safe in accordance with the particular study protocol. Work with the investigator, research staff and external Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to manage the initiation, maintenance and close down of clinical trials.
