Job Specification - Machine Operator / Plastic Welder As a Machine Operator / Plastic Welder, you'll play a vital role in setting up and operating plastic heat welding machines. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up the plastic heat welder to the appropriate temperature after daily checks Joining frames using the heat welder Reading technical drawings accurately Moving finished products to the designated storage area Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Collaborating with the team or working independently as needed The ideal candidate To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience with plastic welding (PVC) A good level of physical fitness for this hands-on position A keen attention to detail to ensure our high standards are met Background working in a factory environment and understanding of deadline pressures Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting Experience with sewing machines is a plus, but not essential The Benefits - Machine Operator / Plastic Welder Competitive salary package depending on experience between £30,000-£33,000 per annum (negotiable) A fixed shift pattern (08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00-14:30 Friday) On-site parking.
