A fantastic opportunity with a local supported housing charity organisation for a Senior Domestic Abuse Casework Coordinator to join their team in Bath on a full time basis on a 12-month fixed term contract.
1. Salary of £27,000 per year
2. Hours are 37.5 hours per week
3. On call 1 in every 4 weeks (paid an extra £100 per week when on-call)

5. A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work

The Senior Domestic Abuse Casework Coordinator Role:
To assist with the management of local projects, ensuring teams are well supported and supervised. performance KPI objectives, quality standards, and contractual obligations are met through effective management of local teams. Maintain a visible and active presence within local teams. With support from the Service Manager, ensure service improvements are embedded within local projects.
Duties include:
12. Assist the Service Manager with operational and staff management
13. Deal with local incidents and safeguarding ensuring action is taken, communicated, followed up and recorded
14. Provide supportive line management and supervision to team members ensuring regular reviews are in place including monthly supervisions, PDRs and any other reviews as appropriate.
15. Provide a caseload of clients with high-quality person-centred services which takes a strength based and trauma informed approach.
16. Identify and promote opportunities for client involvement within the project(s).
The Successful Senior Domestic Abuse Casework Coordinator Applicant:
17. Ability and previous experience in a leadership role
18. Experience within DVA is desirable but not essential
19. A proven knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity and bringing these into everyday practice within projects.
20. Ability and motivation to embed a recovery focused approach and a strength- based trauma informed approach within projects
21. Good communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
22. A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work.
