Full job description
Key responsibilities:
1. Support and oversee the administrative elements of enhanced services, ensuring contractual requirements are met.
2. Oversee the administrative elements of Quality of Framework (QOF), liaising with GPs, nursing staff, and the business intelligence team.
3. Oversee the delivery of public health campaigns such as influenza vaccinations, ensuring effective delivery of services.
4. Maintain a robust recall system to maximize patient contact for effective management.
5. Submit PPA (Prescription Pricing Authority) claims while checking financial viability and key performance indicators (KPIs).
6. Summit reports for Quality of Framework (QOF) and enhanced services using CQRS/commissioning portal.
7. Ensure compliance with patient group directions (PGDs).
8. Monitor performance and financial KPIs.
9. Provide non-clinical support to the clinical pharmacist and nurse leads.
10. Monitor practice adherence to the prescribing policy.
11. Support a robust and timely repeat prescribing system.
12. Oversee the clinical rota team ensuring clinics are applied accurately and timely, escalating associated risks.
13. Complete effective staff appraisals ensuring the clinical care team has appropriate objectives aligned to the PCNs strategy goals.
14. Direct line management of the Clinical Care Team Leaders.
15. Stay up to date with all national and local guidance.
16. Monitor training in the clinical care teams, ensuring appropriate training levels are maintained.
17. Complete and schedule regular team meetings, appraisals, and 1:1 opportunities, providing constructive feedback for a high-performance culture.
18. Guide staff in developing searches and audits on the clinical system.
19. Review and update clinical templates to ensure they relate to current practice.
20. Identify and proactively address training needs.
21. Provide management support to designated working sites.
22. Collaborate closely with other Deputy Clinical Managers.
23. Ensure all staff implement the practice-wide approach.
