We’re looking for a graduate or early-career mobile/web developer to expand our team. You should be a collaborative, positive person who is keen to upskill and share knowledge. Learning and development is at the heart of how we work. We’re based in Cambridge, UK - a major innovation hub, with many of our projects linked with vibrant start-ups and entrepreneurs. Most of us are local to the Cambridge area but that’s not essential, and we do a lot of our work remotely. You need to be based in the UK. Our web software is written in Ruby/Rails, PHP/Laravel and Javascript. Our mobile apps are written in React Native. You may have skills that match what we use, but either way, you certainly will have the opportunity to learn new technologies. With the many projects we work on, we aim to keep them organised and to schedule. You’ll be expected to communicate clearly with team members, deliver results, work well in a team and independently, and be ready to ask for help when needed. We also highly rate family and non-work time by offering plenty of flexibility. Skills & requirements Experience in Laravel or Ruby on Rails (or similar). Experience in building APIs. A strong grasp of object-orientated programming and design patterns that avoid redundancy, promote developer efficiency, testability and maintainability. Technically minded and detail oriented. A desire to collaborate and innovate with clients and other members of the team. A focused mindset to deliver solutions. Above all a willingness and capacity to learn fast.
