Your new role
Lead the coordination and production of high-level internal business reports.
Represent the Directorate at internal and external meetings, deputising for the Head of Planning and Business Support at key meetings as and when required and establish working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within NHS Wales and beyond.
Lead responsibility for the management of specified projects/work areas and take the lead for a variety of defined central functions within the Directorate. This will include financial planning, budgetary monitoring and control, procurement, grants and research bids, HR, ESR, performance reporting, recruitment, strategic planning.
What you'll need to succeed
Masters Degree in business related subject or equivalent level of experience working at a senior management level in a business role.
Evidence of continued professional development in business related subjects e.g. finance, planning, management, HR, risk management.
Specialist knowledge and experience of a number of disciplines including finance, procurement, health and safety, governance, human resources, performance management and risk management underpinned by relevant practical experience.
Management experience including staff management.
Experience of managing budgets at a directorate or department level.
What you'll get in return

37.5 hours per week (would consider 30 hours).
Base office – Cardiff.
Hybrid working.
Starting ASAP.
£28.35 PAYE or £274.66 UMB.
