Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational and emotional development of our students. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere, helping to inspire young learners in their daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide individual and small group support to students, helping them with their learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support the assessment and tracking of student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create effective learning strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting is preferred.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE Level 2 Certificate) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
