You’ll work closely with customers to deliver technical and commercial solutions, promote innovative products, and exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities Achieve sales budgets and KPIs in the coatings and decorative Crafts market. Build and maintain strong relationships through telephone, face-to-face meetings, seminars, and regular communication. Increase sales, improve profit margins, and expand the customer base. Promote new products from existing and new suppliers. Manage the technical sales cycle, including tracking samples and quotations. Provide timely sales forecasts and financial data. Leverage CRM tools to record and optimise customer interactions. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities. Negotiate pricing for new and existing business to maximise profitability. Prepare monthly reports and reforecast sales data. What We’re Looking For in this Regional Sales Manger job Proven experience in technical sales within the coatings or related industries (such as paints, decorative crafts consumables, solvents etc) Strong relationship-building skills and a personable approach. Ability to build an excellent technical understanding of the product range offered by the business in the coatings market. Excellent organisational skills to manage call, meetings and CRM updates. Strategic thinking to implement innovative marketing plans and react to market changes. Likely to be at least degree educated in a scientific subject related to chemistry.
