An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Orthopaedic Therapy team at the Great Western Hospital for a fixed term of 6 months.
You will be working in an integrated team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants who provide therapy to all Orthopaedic patients on the Elective and Trauma wards at Great Western Hospital. Experience of working in Orthopaedics is desirable.
We would welcome interest from experienced Band 5s who are looking to further their experience or an established band 6 looking to further develop their skills.
The role of the Band 6 Orthopaedic Physiotherapist is to provide a skilled level of physiotherapeutic intervention to orthopaedic patients of any age in the hospital. The Band 6 will also carry out non-clinical duties, assist in the training of qualified staff, assistants and students and will contribute to the development of the service.
