Are you ready for a new Challenge?
The Private Patient Suite at the Royal Derby Hospital can provide just that. The unit comprises of an 11 bedded ward, an outpatient's clinic department and a minor procedures room.
We operate 7 days a week and care for a wide range of surgical patients pre and post operatively; we also undertake a wide variety of day case procedures.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work clinically alongside the ward and outpatient team to deliver a high standard of patient care.
The successful applicant will have a strong background of experience working in an acute setting, preferably but not essentially within surgery.
DPH (Derby Private Health) is proud to be a part of UHDB and as such all of our employees have the same excellent employee benefits and opportunities as other trust employees.
Working for DPH, you will build excellent working relationships with a wide range of professionals from varied specialties.
Our excellent working relationship with our consultants has been developed since we have been open; the successful applicant will play an integral part in building and maintaining this.
We are a small team who pride ourselves on our professionalism and excellent patient care, and we welcome and invite applicants with new and innovative ideas for the future development of our services.
You will play an integral part in a small, friendly, and proactive team; working alongside colleagues to maintain a high standard of clinical care and safety throughout the patients' stay.
You will provide professional nursing care and support to patients and your colleagues, which will ensure the delivery of a safe and clinically effective service in line with the Derby Private Health Suite and Trust's values and beliefs.
As UHDB (University Hospitals of Derby and Burton) is a teaching hospital, you will have the opportunity to support students through their nursing pathway.
A high degree of flexibility is a key aspect of this post, and you will be required to work a combination of day and night shifts. Previous experience of working in the Private Healthcare sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of specialties and expand your knowledge and experience whilst building on your leadership skills.
If your passion is making a real difference to the patient’s experience, then we want to hear from you!
