To assist and support Service Managers with the effective management and the delivery of the Bryson Care Domiciliary Care service in accordance with agreed aims and objectives, best practice principles and statutory and regulatory requirements.
Job Purpose:
Primarily Field based in Waterside, Cityside/Shantallow or Limavady & Strabane areas as required.
* Arrange initial visits to service user homes and completion of Service User Agreements along with the completion of risk assessments for and with service users.
* Contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of need of each service user.
* Undertake and complete Quality Annual Monitoring visits with each service user.
* Check service user satisfaction by regular telephone contact.
* Deputise with the management of the day-to-day operations in the absence of the Service Manager.
* Carry out spot checks with staff and report outcomes to the service manager.
* Minimum of 18 months paid experience supporting older people in a domiciliary/social care setting.
* Flexible approach to working hours.
* Full driving licence and access to a car.
* Ability to provide on-call support to Care Workers outside of office hours.
