As a Blockchain and Privacy Senior Associate within GTAR, you will focus on advancing blockchain and privacy research. You will develop novel research solutions, contribute to software development for applications, and enhance JPMC’s intellectual property. Your work will span areas such as blockchain, decentralized systems, privacy, and cryptography.
Job Responsibilities:
* Advance the field of blockchain and privacy through innovative research.
* Develop novel research solutions to address challenges faced by internal project teams.
* Spin off research into software development for practical applications.
* Contribute to JPMC’s intellectual property by pursuing necessary protections.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Experience in quantitative research or a similar background in software development.
* Experience in scientific technical writing and grant applications or research proposals.
* Working knowledge of common research evaluation frameworks and techniques.
* Strong track record in research publications or software development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
* Enrolled in a related quantitative Ph.D. or engineering master's degree program.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Strong publication record is preferred.
* Experience in Post Quantum Cryptography, Decentralized systems and AI, differential privacy, or data market.
* Excellent knowledge of OO and Python programming; experience with Rust or C++ is an advantage.
* Background in Blockchain and Cryptography research is an advantage.
