Job Description
* Oversee the regular servicing and maintenance of machinery.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and fix faults.
* Document maintenance work and machine downtime.
* Communicate with other departmental staff to ensure machinery is operational and efficient.
* Comply with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment.
* Train other staff members on equipment operations and safe handling procedures.
* Participate in the development of maintenance strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Shift Maintenance Engineer should have:
* Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial machinery.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Responsible for the effective use of time and utilities to achieve Overall Equipment Effectiveness targets.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Exceptional communication and training skills.
* Active participation in site inspections and safety initiatives.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Work with Engineer Supervisor to prioritise work orders.
