What You Will Be Working On
As the City Governance Lead, you’ll:
1. Play a key role in maintaining a robust governance framework that ensures compliance, ethical standards, and alignment with the City’s strategic goals.
2. Lead a culture of accountability, transparency, and proactive risk management while building the capabilities of teams to meet governance standards.
3. Work collaboratively across departments to provide expert legal and governance advice, ensuring informed decision-making, mitigating risks, and enhancing governance processes.
4. Champion continuous improvement and deliver high-quality governance outcomes to help shape the City’s future.
About You
You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for finding solutions in complex situations. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where collaboration is key. You have:
1. Strong expertise in governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance.
2. Excellent leadership skills with a passion for building capabilities and empowering teams.
3. A collaborative mindset with the ability to provide expert advice and drive innovation in governance practices.
