Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: #onsite. This role is contributing to the UK, Electrification Emergency Lightning division. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines.
2. Using light hand tools as required.
3. Regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
4. Conducting shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reporting any non-compliance.
5. Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications for the role
* Experience in light assembly within manufacturing environments preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
* Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Experience with PCBs and wiring is a plus.
* Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
