We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join our friendly and dedicated team in Bolton on a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll be an essential member of the Employee Relations team providing moments that matter to our candidates, colleagues, and line managers. Your tasks in the ER team will be varied, providing policy advice to colleagues over the phone or via our case management system. If you’ve previous experience of working in a HR Shared Services team and experience of providing ER advice at Tier 1 and 2 level then we’d love to hear from you. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our Bolton office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Answering calls that come into the People Services team and providing advice and help. Managing a portfolio of ER cases. Ensuring issues are escalated as appropriate. Actioning workflow to ensure activity is prioritised. Managing data integrity and ensure standards for audit requirements are delivered that meet legal and business requirements. Responsible for provision of HR advice to employees, managers and new starters. Administering the processes and provision of ER advice and guidance. Experience of providing ER advice at Tier 1 and 2 level is essential. Understands and demonstrates importance of data protection and its associated risks. Computer literate with experience of MS Office and HR systems. Stakeholder management experience. Confident in answering calls and liaising with customers. Attention to detail, quality, pace and precision. CIPD qualification would be advantageous.
