Job summary
A supervisory admin role has arisen providing leadership for the booking team and CDC admin team. The role is full time ( hours per week) but a job share may be considered for the right candidates. The role is based at Covercroft centre but travel to the child development centres and Kidderminster health centre may be required.
If you are a highly organised and experienced administrator with some leadership or transformation experience this could be an excellent opportunity to continue to develop your skills. We are looking for an admin leader who will be willing to review and transform processes within an experienced team who are experiencing high demand. The focus will be on retaining quality whilst improving efficiency. You will be expected to lead the staff group through this process and to be a supportive and compassionate line manager. It will be a challenge but will also be a highly rewarding role.
Main duties of the job
You willbe the team leader for an experienced group of band 2 and 3 administrators andreception staff working across the community paediatrics and child development centreteams. You will receive support and training to be able to deliver on trustpolicies and meet high expectations for the management of staff.
You willbe expected to review all processes and workloads for staff, supportingtransformation and the maintenance of change as necessary.
You willjoin a band 4 peer group to offer support and peer supervision to other adminteam leaders within children young people and families services.
You willliaise with technical support teams to maximise the digital enablement of allprocesses and offer appropriate training and support for your team to usedigital options to their full potential.
Youwill ensure the quality of the customer service elements of the work on boththe booking phone lines and from the reception staff.
