Expanded are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on one of our healthcare projects in Calderdale.
Scope: Reinforced concrete structures
Role & Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the achievement of safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences
* Support the delivery of the sub project to the client within budget, Quality Assurance standards, on programme and to stringent safety parameters
* Work with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work
* Provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the plan
* Ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within the business and from the workforce
* Support the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team
* Interface with the construction manager and sections managers to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilisation
* Monitor external changes to work plans and report the effect of change
* Lead section meetings to review safety, quality, progress and design
* Ensure effective implementation of Laing O'Rourke project management systems and procedures
* Contribute to the contract review process
* Chair safety committee meetings on a monthly basis, take minutes, distribute and carry out all actions
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or recognisable qualification)
* Between 10-15 years' experience
* Structures experience
