We are on the lookout for those with either personal or professional care work experience with adults or children and/or have worked with children whether that be in an education or non-education setting. We are currently recruiting for a number of roles in the area for Teaching Assistants to work with children in Mainstream and Specialist provision schools with Special Educational Needs. We can offer free further training and development online followed by a paid 2 day trial shadowing another member of staff in school.
Your online training will be in the following areas:
* Safeguarding
* "Keeping Children Safe in Education"
* Expectations of a Teaching Assistant
* Scaffolding Learning and supporting the delivery of lessons
* Identifying and supporting with Special Educational Needs children
* Behaviour management skills
Working as a Teaching Assistant you will benefit from:
* A salary up to £23,807 (full time equivalent)
* Working Term Time only 8:30-3:30

* A dedicated consultant to support and advise throughout your employment
* Holiday pay and pension contributions
* £250 when you refer a friend to Hays once they have worked 20 days.
