This position reports to the Security Manager for Intelligence and Investigations and is based at High Wycombe, United Kingdom.
What you will do
The Lead Analyst is responsible for implementing intelligence strategies within the region. The selectee will perform in-depth analysis of external risks and threats, and monitor adherence to security standards, policies and protocols to support development of regional risk profiles.
1. Monitors adherence to security standards, policies and protocols to support development of regional risk profiles;
2. Identifies and analyses current and emerging risks and develops probability models to assess likelihood of occurrence and potential outcomes;
3. Creates dashboards and visualizations that simplify complex data for decision makers;
4. Produces high quality, substantive intelligence products on multi-faceted risks and threats;
5. Utilizes threat assessment methodologies to support security investigations;
6. Collaborates cross functionally, providing expert advice and guidance to key stakeholders to support informed decision making;
7. Actively participates in external regional associations and information sharing forums;
8. Oversees and provides guidance to junior analysts;
9. Develops and tracks KPIs and makes recommendations to improve operational performance;
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
2. Five or more years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis or related field
3. Knowledge and understanding of security, geopolitical, operational, and social risk issues
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills
5. Ability to brief at all levels of the company and communicate openly and candidly across Business Units and operating companies
6. Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines while interacting with colleagues and stakeholders in sometimes challenging situations
7. Ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize and critically assess large volumes of information, filtering out non-relevant details
8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
10. Ability to work a flexible schedule during crisis periods
Desired Qualifications
1. Advanced degree in international relations, intelligence, political science, criminology, or related field
2. Previous experience using advanced data analytics software and/or geospatial technologies (i2 or ArcGIS)
3. Experience in supporting a corporate security intelligence function
