About the Role
A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking a highly organized Document Controller / Site Administrator to join their project team on a fixed-term 39-week contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the site team on a high-profile construction project.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Document Control:
*
Manage and maintain project documentation using the company’s EDMS (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar).
*
Ensure all drawings, RFIs, and specifications are updated and correctly distributed.
*
Maintain version control and document tracking logs to prevent errors.
🔹 Site Administration:
*
Provide administrative support to the project team, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and preparing reports.
*
Assist with site inductions, ensuring all personnel have completed the necessary paperwork.
*
Maintain records of permits, site diaries, and compliance documentation.
🔹 Compliance & Quality Assurance:
*
Ensure all documents comply with company procedures and industry regulations.
*
Support audits by maintaining accurate and well-organized records.
*
Assist in managing health & safety documentation and tracking site incidents/near misses.
🔹 Stakeholder Coordination:
*
Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth document flow.
*
Support the project team with administrative tasks related to procurement, deliveries, and scheduling.
*
Act as the main point of contact for document-related queries on-site.
Key Requirements
✅ Experience:
*
Previous experience as a Document Controller or Site Administrator within a construction environment.
*
Experience working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is desirable.
✅ Technical Skills:
*
Proficiency in EDMS platforms (Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, Procore, or similar).
*
Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
✅ Personal Attributes:
*
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
*
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
