We are currently seeking a talented Predictive Maintenance Engineer in the Manchester-Leeds region to join our team. Your Role As a Predictive Maintenance Engineer, your mission will be to detect machine failures at an early stage, enabling our clients to take corrective actions in time. You’ll play a key role in improving client productivity, reducing downtime, and minimizing the environmental impact. Job Responsibilities Conduct planned vibration measurements and inspections on client machinery. Work on various client sites across the UK, monitoring rotating equipment such as gas and steam turbines, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, electric motors, fans, and other machinery. Utilize various analytical techniques and technologies, such as vibration analysis (manual, online, wireless), thermal imaging, and oil analysis, to detect and investigate machine failures. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of damages and propose solutions to prevent recurring issues, contributing directly to the reliability of client assets. Follow a tailored training program, combining theoretical and practical on-the-job learning based on your current experience and technical knowledge. With the guidance of our trainers and senior engineers, progress from a supporting role to a more independent and responsible role, eventually becoming an expert in Condition Monitoring. Who Are You? A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Process Technology, or a related discipline. No prior experience is required, but a genuine interest in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and reliability engineering is essential. A strong desire to learn and collaborate with like-minded colleagues to share knowledge and experiences. A problem-solving mindset, with a passion for identifying solutions and improvements.
