Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known Care Home in its local community in Christchurch. This is a unique role managing a small 25-bed care home where you can really come onboard and make this home your own! They strive to create a warm, home-like environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cherished.
As the Facility Manager (RN), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring both operational and clinical aspects are managed to a high standard. They have a small but loyal team who love their residents dearly and create a lovely home-like environment where there are lots of laughs and a lot of love!
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership promoting a positive culture and resident-centered care.
* Oversee day-to-day operations and clinical oversight of the facility.
* Work on the floor and assist RNs as needed.
* Create positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members; maintain clear communication skills and promote a supportive work environment.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and a multi-disciplinary team to maximize resident care and services.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a leadership role within the aged care sector; experience as a Unit Coordinator or Clinical Manager is acceptable.
* High level of communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* A passion for providing person-centered care and improving the quality of life for seniors.
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and Health & Disability Standards.
