Title:Production Operator
Salary:£12.54
Job Type:Temp to Perm
Working Hours:Monday – Friday
Working Times:Varies depending on business needs - 6 am - 2:30 pm or 10 am - 6 pm depending on business needs.
Main Duties:
* Safely intake cream from tankers and collate tanker receipts
* Perform cream testing prior to offloading
* Use the SG stock control system
* Pasteurise cream according to training/SOPs
* Minimise waste at all times
* Ensure tankers and silos are washed according to cleaning procedures (before and after use)
* Oversee silo temperatures
* Always ensure adherence to Critical Control Points (CCPs)
* Report any problems or issues to senior personnel as they arise
* Undertake any training provided
* Complete all records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
About You:
* Experienced in the food manufacturing field
* Quick learner with a sense of urgency
* Able to communicate effectively with all staff, including the Head of Procurement, Drivers, QA/QC’s, Team Leaders, FSM, Buyers, etc.
* Capable of inputting data onto paperwork and a computer
* Able to work independently and carry out all tasks
Advantageous Skills:
* Experience unloading tankers
* Knowledge of the food industry
* Pasteurisation knowledge
* Banksman trained
