Shop Manager/Receptionist– SliderCuts Studios
Part-time to Full-time | Hybrid (London) | 2-3 days at the shop + 8-14 hours remotely (flexible)
We are seeking a Shop Manager/Receptionist to join SliderCuts Studios and lead our team of barbers and receptionists. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day shop operations while maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for both barbers and clients. You should be passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring that a positive customer experience is at the forefront of everything in the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
•Managing barbers and receptionists
•Managing stock inventory (merchandise + shop supplies)
•Ensuring the shop is clean and presentable
•Managing holiday requests and absences
•Conducting reviews
•Resolving disputes
•Maintaining shop standards
•Greeting customers and assisting them with queries
•Email management
•Understanding and implementing SOPs, systems, and strategies to improve the shop’s structure and efficiency
•Developing and refining clear policies and procedures for both receptionists and barbers to ensure consistency in operations
•Identifying areas for improvement in shop management and customer service and proactively implementing changes
Work Schedule:
•2-3 days per week in the shop (on a rota basis)
•8-14 hours remote work per week (flexible, spread across multiple days as needed)
•When in the shop, you will also fulfil the role of a receptionist alongside managerial duties

The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively. You should be comfortable working in a predominantly male environment and be proactive in improving shop systems, policies, and structures.

Job Type:
•Part-time to Full-time
•Expected hours: No less than 24 hours per week, up to 48 hours per week
Schedule:
•Monday to Saturday
•Sundays required in emergencies
